ROSE CROISSANTS


I picked this recipe from Fauzia’s kitchen fun , and because i like to make different breads myself so it was a very unique addition in my breads list. I tried it with different fillings and always liked by all.

INGREDIENTS FOR BREAD:
flour  2 cups
egg   1
yeast  2 tsp
sugar   1tbsp
salt   1tsp
butter    1/2 cup melted
warm milk   to knead the dough

METHOD:
Mix all ingredients n knead with milk ,dough should be soft thn leave it for 3 hrs meanwhile make filling…

FILLING  INGREDIENTS FOR ROSES:
chicken  shredded 1 cup
onion 1 small
oil 1 tbsp
flour   1 tbsp
garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
salt
black ppr   1/2 tsp
crushed red chillies   1/2 tsp
hara dhania
hari mirch

METHOD:
In a pan add oil and saute chopped onion then add flour and fry for few mins then add chicken and all spices ,now add 1/2 cup water in it ,the mixture will become thick then add hara dhania and mirch in it.Set aside , let it cool down.

HOW TO MAKE ROSES:
Make small balls of dough and roll each ball and make a small thin roti then, cut it in four halves  but not from center
place filling in center and then overlap all halves ,brush egg wash and sprinkle till (sesame seeds ),bake it for 20 mins at 160c in electric oven….enjoy with tea and grab your family’s appreciation….:)


If you are nuttela lover like me… 🙂 then here comes again a very nice recipe , you can give this to your kids for school lunch boxes and can be a perfect Hi tea item.

INGREDIENTS:
FOR DOUGH:

flour  3 cups
egg  1
yeast  1 tbsp
salt pinch
milk powder    2 tbsp
icing sugar   3 tbsp
butter   3 tbsp

METHOD:
In a bowl mix all ingredients and knead all with warm water ,dough should be soft .Now set aside and keep it for 3-4 hours.

REMAINING INGREDIENTS:
nutella spread   as needed
cream cheese   softened
icing sugar   as needed
vanilla essence

METHOD OF MAKING ROLLS:
Divide dough in equal portions then roll each ball and make a flat circle ,should be thin .
Now spread generous amount of nutella chocolate spread on top ,roll it up and cut 2 inch pieces ..
Now grease the muffin tray and place three pieces in each muffin mold .
Bake it at 180c for 20 mins ..

CREAM CHEESE ICING:
In a bowl mix cream cheese,sugar and vanilla essence …beat them and make a soft and smooth paste ..top rolls with icing and enjoy with evening tea ,can be  your children lunch item as well…

CHICKEN FILLED CONES


When I saw these cones on chef Asad’s page , I immediately made these cones and were appreciated by all. Filling you can make to your choice . Fajita, chicken tikka or simple vegetable filling you can fill in and enjoy with evening tea.

INGREDIENTS:

FOR FILLING:

 

chicken   1 cup  boiled

hara dhania/ coriander

hari mirch /green chillies

black pepper   1/2 tsp

crushed red chilli 1/2 tsp

salt

capsicum   1/2  ,in stripes.

METHOD:

Add all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.set a side and as soon as cones done fill in it..

 

DOUGH FOR CONES…

Same as we used in chicken bread…

 

HOW TO MAKE CONES:

 

Grease metal cones and then roll the dough to make a thin roti(flat round) , cut  long stripes ,now roll on cones and brush egg wash . Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and bake for 15 mins at 180c.

Take them out and carefully remove cone .Now let them cool down for 15 mins  then fill in chicken or any other filling of your choice….
