salad on apple mA perfect appetizer recipe which is healthy and delicious, this recipe doesn’t need a recipe 🙂 You can change ingredients according to your taste buds.


Chicken, boiled and shred1/2 cup
Cabbage1/4 cup
Carrot, grated1
Capsicum, chopped1 small
Dried craneberries1 tbsp
Cream cheese2 tbsp
Mayonaise1/2 cup
White pepper1/4 tsp
Black pepper1/2 tsp
Saltto taste
Oliveas needed
Red chili flakes as needed


  • Cut all vegetables and mix all other ingredients in it.
  • Keep it in refrigerator.
  •  Just before serving cut apple slices and place  spoonful salad on slice and serve.
  • You can dip apples in lemon water to avoid browning of slices. Instead of mayonnaise use yogurt if you like.

  • Sprinkle chili flakes and serve.

14 August themed ‘Rich Fruit salad’ It can be served as both salad and dessert. For serving it as dessert simply add 2 more table spoons of caster sugar!


Cream 1 cup

Mayonnaise 1 cup

Green Grapes 1 cup

Pineapples cut in small cubes 1 cup

Pears/apples cut in small cubes 1 cup

Banana 1 medium

Pistachio ¼ cup Salt a pinch

Castor sugar 4 tsp

Black pepper ½ tsp

Banana Jelly 1 packet

Gelatin 1 tsp dissolved in ¼ cup of water


• Prepare jelly with one cup of water. Pour in a mold of any shape. Let it cool.

• Mix rest of all ingredients.

• Now dissolve gelatin in ¼ cup of water and mix well. Put in microwave oven for 20 sec or boil it in a small saucepan. As soon as you see small bubbles turn off the flame and let it cool slightly.

• Add the gelatin mixture in the salad and mix well

• Taking one table spoon of the fruit salad at a time add over the jelly layer in the pan and let it set for 2-3 hours.

• For serving place the mold over boiling water in a pan for 10 sec. invert the mold and serve cold.


sweet n sour soup mWinter and soups are inter connected. Like chicken corn soup this sweet and sour soup is famous and favorite of all. Do try it and give me your feedback.


Chicken with bones1/2 kg
Water6 cups
Carrot, chopped1 medium
Onion1 medium
Capsicum thinly chopped1/2 cup
Cabbage thinly chopped1/2 cup
Carrot thinly chopped1/2 cup
Spring onion chopped1/4 cup
Egg1, beaten
Chilli garlic sauce6 tbsp
Chili sauce1 tbsp
Soya sauce3 tbsp
Chinese salt1 tsp
Saltto tatste
Sugar1 tbsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Vinegar3 tbsp
Cornflour3-4 tbsp


  • Add chicken, onion, carrot and water in a pot. Let it cook till 3 cups broth left.
  • Strain it and shred chicken finely. Add shredded chicken in broth and put it back on stove.
  • Add vegetables and let them boil for five minutes. Now add all spices and stir.
  • Dissolve cornflour in water (1/2 cup) and pour in soup, keep on stirring till thick.
  • Add well beaten egg also. Cook for 5 more minutes.
  • You can adjust all spices according to your taste.
  • Add spring onions finely chopped and serve.
  • Serve with chili sauce and soya sauce.

IMG_0297mainNoodle soup is a favorite of kids, a warm bowl of noodle soup is satisfying and supper comforting appetizer.


Noodles (i have used Maggi noodles)2 oz
Shredded Chicken3 oz
Chicken stock7 cups
Capsicum1/4 cup
Carrot1/4 cup
Ajino Moto /Chinese salt1/2 tsp
Black pepper1 tsp
Beaten egg1


  • Boil noodles.
  • Boil chicken and shred it.In a deep pot boil chicken stock and add chicken and vegetables.Cook for 5 minutes only.
  • Add salts and noodles ,You can add black pepper also.
  • Pour beaten egg in soup and constantly stir ,ready to serve.
  • Enjoy.

This super easy and delicious soup is a favorite of all in winter season, I must say this is a king of soups in Pakistan…lolz


Water10 cups
Onion1 medium
Carrot1 medium
Garlic2 cloves
Tomato1 medium

  • Place chicken wings and necks in a pot and add all other ingredients in it.
  • Boil them on medium flame for 2 hours.
  • Remove all ingredients and discard,except chicken.
  • remove meat from bones and set aside.
  • You can store this stock in freezer for a month also.

Egg1 no
Salt to taste
White pepper1/2 tsp
Vinegar2 tbsp
Chinese salt (optional)1 1/2 tsp
Soya sauce2 tbsp
Corn flour1/2 cup


  • Boil corns (if using fresh) and coarsely grind them.
  • Now again boil the stock and add salt, soya sauce, Chinese salt, white vinegar and white pepper.
  • Add corns and mix well now add corn flour dissolved in water.
  • Beat egg and pour in soup but keep on stirring ,it will form threads of egg.
  • Serve hot.
  • You can add chopped hard boil egg too.
  • Before serving add black pepper if required.
  • Add chopped green chillies in vinegar ,leave it for few minutes then serve with soup. You will love it.

Chicken soup/yakhni does help in clearing congestion and its an effective home remedy for cough, cold and flu. Chicken wings and necks quater/pao
Carrots 2 medium
Onion/spring onion1 large
Turnips2 small
Garlic cloves3
Turmeric powder1/2 tsp
Black pepperas needed
Saltto taste
Cinnamon stick1
Water 4 glasses


  • Add all ingredients in water including chicken and boil about 1-2 hours on low flame.
  • Remove fat from surface time to time from spoon.
  • Strain this and remove chicken and vegetables.
  • Now add salt and black pepper.
  • Serve hot.
  • You can freeze this broth.

Broccoli is also a source of many substances called phytochemicals, or plant chemicals, that may have anticancer properties.

Broccoli 1 head
Chicken/Vegetable Stock 3 cups
Cheese 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Black Pepper (crushed) 1/2 tsp


  • In a pan add stock and washed broccoli head, salt and pepper and cook till broccoli is tender.
  • In a blender blend it and again transfer in pan and let it cook for few minutes.
  • In the end add cheese and serve hot.

One of my friends asked for tomato soup recipe, so I am adding up a very simple and easy to cook soup recipe in my cook book… 🙂  grilled croutons or baked one both will give you very good  combination with tomato soup.


Tomatoes(chopped) 2 1/2 cup
Onion (chopped) 1
Yellow Split Lentil (mong ki dal)
(washed and soak in water)
1/4 cup
Milk 1/4 cup
Butter 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Corn Flour 1 tbsp


  • First boil tomatoes and lentil in 3 cups of water till lentil is completely tender and well cooked.
  • Now blend them and in a deep pan add butter and onions, sauté it and add blended mixture in it.
  • Now add salt and sugar. After mixing well dissolve corn flour in milk and with whisk mix it till desired consistency is obtained.
  • Serve hot with croutons  or garlic sticks…
