Crispy sticks with cheesy flavor you can add in your iftar menus or give your kids in lunch boxes. Make and store in freezer for a long time. Recipe is inspired by chef Shahid.
INGREDIENTS:
Bread slices as needed or 8 slices
Mozzarella cheese , grate it.
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Green chili crushed 1 tsp
Coriander leaves 1 tsp
Chicken powder 1/2 tsp
Eggs 2 beaten
Bread crumbs as needed.
Make a paste of flour and water for sealing bread.
Ketchup for serving
METHOD:
Take fresh bread and with pin roll press it and remove edges.
Now in a bowl add all ingredients. and mix with light hands.
Beat eggs.
Place filling on bread and roll it. Seal with paste of flour and dip in egg. Coat crumbs and deep fry.
Do not fry on high flame.
Serve hot with Sauce.
GARLIC MAYO SAUCE:
INGREDIENTS:
Mayonnaise 2-3 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tsp
Freshly grind ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
Icing sugar 1/2 tsp
Mustard powder 1/2 tsp
METHOD:
Mix all ingredients and serve with sticks.

METHOD:
In chicken cubes add all spices and leave it for 1-2 hours.
Add oil in a pan and chicken, cook till tender. Add chili garlic sauce in chicken mixture.
You can give smoke of coal.
Cut long buns from center.
In buns spread ketchup first and place chicken mixture.
You can spread mayonnaise on one side of bun, if required.
Serve with Fries.
CRISPY CRUNCHY FRIES
Cut potatoes (1 kg) in wedges.
In boiling water add 2 tbsp. salt and lemon food color pinch.
Add potato wedges and just boil for 5 minutes.
Drain water and spread on a paper towel.
Sprinkle corn flour on potatoes. Toss well.
Fry in oil. (for long lasting crispiness you can fry them in unipuff butter)
After adding in oil do not turn for few minutes, let them cook for few minutes other wise they will break.

Today, I made donuts with my bundle of joy. Real sweet pastime, but I am scared that there won’t be enough donuts, because my child ate them immediately one after another.
A little confession: I’m not a donut person but now i can understand the phrase What ever you don’t like/Enjoy there is a moment in mother’s life where she happily complete that task for the sake of her child happiness.
So, my little man doesn’t know how to speak properly as he is only 3 but he can tell me he wants two things each day as breakfast , pre lunch, lunch, noon snack, pre dinner, dinner, bed time snack & even in mid night i.e: Gol Gappy , dounts
Due to his constant demand I searched internet starting from my most favourite cooking expert Shireen Anwer recipe & after going through written recipes to YouTube videos i ended from where I started.
Given below recipe is the recipe of Shireen Apa’s donut recipe. I highly recommend please go through this video for tips, do(s) & don’t(s)
As the recipe is Quick, easy gives some remarkable results.
People who like more sweet taste can ascend suger level upto their likeness. I always follow One tip from Shireen Apa’s teacher sir yousuf, he says, be fearless. Ek bar agr apki marzi ka kaam nahi bnay ga to koi baat nahi dusri bar k liye app k pass tajarba hojaye ga.
I made this recipe in quarters makes about 12-14 ( I used standard measuring cups)
INGREDIENTS:
Flour 250 gm
Yeast 1.5tsp
Suger 2tbsp
Milk powder 1/4 cup
Butter 2tbsp
Egg 1
Milk 70 ml (app. 1/4 cup +2tbsp)
Water 50 ml (app.1/4 cup)
(Mix water and milk microwave for 20 sec and knead the dough with this warm liquid)
METHOD:
Mix everything, make soft plus smooth dough. proof for 30 min to 1.5 hr
Punch down, knead for 5-7 min, roll 1/2 inches thick, cut, leave on flour dusted surface for second proof, fry.

It is like the usual. But i did deep fry in small pan. 2 at a time. Pour hot oil on upper side of donuts too with the help of a deep spoon.
Fry on medium heat.
FOR GLAZE INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup icing suger
1tsp coco powder
2tsp hot water
Mix well. Be fearless, you can simply ascend or descend sweetness according to your taste.
TIPS FOR DONUT MAKING
Some tips I found useful if you are making donuts for the first time like me:
1) I has shared 1/4th portion of Shireen Anwar’s recipe. This quantity is perfect if you are trying donuts for the first time and it makes easily 12-15 donuts.
2) Mix all the dry ingredients for the dough first. Then add melted butter and the egg. Then add the water and milk mixture little by little just enough to knead a smooth dough.
3) Make sure the water and milk mixture is slightly hotter than warm if you want your dough to rise perfectly and be super soft.
4) Your dough will not rise properly if you use old yeast. Make sure your yeast is new or good to use.
5) Donuts should be fried for 3-4 minutes in preheated oil on medium low flame. Turn only once while frying.
6) Check how hot the oil is by using a small piece of dough first before putting in the donuts. Adjust temperature of oil accordingly.
7) Mix the chocolate/sugar glaze well just before you dip the warm donuts into them because the glaze hardens on the surface if not stirred for some time.

Quick recipe which you can make in no time. You can do variation in filling. Use left over chicken or beef mince or add veggies and serve with Nando’s Hot sauce.
INGREDIENTS:
Chicken / beef mince
1 cup
Onion
1 small, chopped
Oil
2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste

METHOD:
In a pot add oil and onion, fry till soft.
Add ginger garlic paste and stir for few seconds, add mince, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, Nando sauce, soya sauce and black pepper. Mix well and cook till done. Let it cool. ( you can add veggies also)
Roll puff pastry and cut in square shape. Cut the edges, as mentioned in pictures and place spoon full in center.
( for pictorial demonstration I have used different filling )
Brush water or egg yolk on edges to seal them.
Cover mince with corners. Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle sesame seeds.
Bake at 180c in pre heated oven.
Serve hot with sauce.

A perfect recipe for Iftar , Kid’s lunch boxes and Hi teas. You can make them and freeze, just before time take them out dip in egg and coat bread crumbs, fry and serve. You will defiantly get an appreciation from you family and friends.
INGREDIENTS:
Boiled and shredded chicken
1 cup
Vegetable cut finely
(cabbage, carrot, capsicum)
1/2 cup
Salt

Oil
1-2 tbsp
Soya sauce

Ajino moto

Ketchup
2 tbsp
Black pepper

Mayonaise
2 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese

METHOD:
In oil add chicken and stir for few seconds, now add soya sauce, salt, ajino moto, black pepper, ketchup and mix well. Now add vegetables in it and stir for few seconds. Let it cool a bit and add mayonnaise and cheese in it. You can add red chili flakes also. You can omit cheese.
Take fresh bread and cut in circles.
Roll them with rolling pin.
Place chicken mixture in center and place second circle on top. Seal edges with flour paste. ( in 2 tbsp. flour/ maida add 3 -4 tbsp. water to make a thick paste )
Make all pockets, Dip in beaten egg and coat with crumbs. You can freeze them on this stage.
You can make only pockets too, without filling. Join two circles and dip in egg and coat in crumbs, fry on medium flame. Cut from center and fill any filling of your choice.
Enjoy with ketchup or any dip.

This recipe I have picked from a group and tried it myself. I liked the different method and taste of these cutlets. You can make these for kids lunch boxes and for tea parties.
INGREDIENTS:
Chicken boneless
1 cup
Tandori masala of any brand
1-2 tbsp according to your taste
Ginger garlic paste
1 tsp
Green chili paste
1/2 tsp
Chicken powder
1/2 tsp
Potatoes
4 medium size
Black pepper
1/2 tsp
Salt
to taste
Coriander leaves
as required
Chopped chilies
1-2
Egg

METHOD:
In Chicken add tandoori masala, ginger garlic paste, chicken powder, chili paste. Mix well and keep it in refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan and add marinated chicken in it. Cook till tender and shred it.
Mash potatoes and add chicken mixture , Salt, black pepper, coriander leaves and green chilies.
Mix well.
Make shape of your own choice.
Dip in egg and in bread crumbs.
Shallow fry.
Serve with any sauce.

Without fries , grilled peri peri chicken is incomplete. My kids loved these crispy and chat patae fries. Serve these fries with Peri Peri chicken and rice.
INGREDIENTS:
Potatoes
2-3
Crushed red chilies
2 tbsp
Salt

Chat masala

Lemon salt

METHOD:
Cut potatoes in fingers.
Boil water in a pot and just dip potatoes in boiled water for five minutes.
Strain and let them cool a bit.
Coat them with corn flour and fry in oil.
Make spice mix for Fries.
Mix salt, lemon salt, crushed red chilies and chat masala.
This small size pizza cake is easy to make and use readily available ingredients. I have seen this recipe of Pizza Cake somewhere on Facebook page. In original recipe they used pizza dough to make layers and I have replaced pizza dough with Pita Bread.
Marinate chicken with Tikka masala. For Tikka Marination check this link: CHICKEN TIKKA PIZZA.
Cook the chicken and set aside.
Take pita bread as many as you required. I have used 3.
Spread pizza sauce and chicken on first layer and sprinkle cheese.
Cover with second layer and do the same process.
Repeat this in all layers.Press with hand. On top layer sprinkle cheese, oregano and olives.
Bake at 180c till cheese melt and nice brown color appear.
Serve with ketchup.
Wrap a cake slice in cling sheet and give in your kids lunch box. They will surely love it 🙂

METHOD:
In a pan add oil and ginger garlic paste, saute for few minutes.
Rough chop onion and add in oil, fry till light brown, add green chilies and stir.
Add chicken and chicken powder. Mix well.
Add salt and flour, stir well for few minutes to remove flour smell.
Add milk and stir vigorously. Cook till milk dries and than add black pepper and soya sauce. Mix well.
Let it cool.
Cut sides of bread and spread ketchup on slice. Spread chicken mixture on other slice and cover with ketchup spreaded slice.
Beat eggs and dip slices in egg and than in crumbs.
Fry in medium hot oil.
After frying cut slices in triangle and spread mayonnaise on corner. Sprinkle cucumber and tomato chopped on edges.
This will give a very different taste to your sandwiches.
You can use this chicken filling in making chicken rolls, bread rolls and pizza also.
You can freeze them and when just thaw and dip in egg and fry when required.
Enjoy with any sauce and ketchup 🙂

Add chicken mince, red chili powder, salt, pepper and cumin. Fry till done.
Let it cool.
Cut pizza cheese in small cubes of 1 inch.
Now take mash potatoes and make a patti, place mince and cheese cube in center and cover with mash potatoes.
Make a ball and set aside.
Cut thin strips from wonton/ samosa wraps.
Dip bombs in egg and wrap thread/strips on each bomb.
Fry in oil.
Serve with any sauce and dip.

A perfect comfort meal with simple recipe and ingredients, original recipe is of Ms. Rukhsana Lone, with potato base but you can give a layer of pasta also. I felt so much proud and glad when i tried this first time on a Family Hi tea and believe me it was well appreciated by all guests.
INGREDIENTS FOR MASHED POTATO LAYER:
Potatoes

Boil potatoes and peel skin.

Fresh garlic cloves, chopped

Thai chili sauce/ Tabasco sauce

METHOD:
In a pan heat cream, hot sauce/ Tabasco sauce and pinch of salt. Mix well and remove from heat.
INGREDIENTS FOR GARLIC BREAD:
Garlic powder
1 tsp
Bread slices
6-7 or as needed
Mixed herbs
1/2 tsp
Butter
5 tbsp
Mozzarella and cheddar cheese
1 cup, for topping
METHOD:
Cut triangles of bread slices.
Mix garlic powder, mixed herbs and butter in a small bowl.
Butter each slice and set aside.
ASSEMBLING:
In a Pyrex dish of any shape first spread mashed potato mixture.
Now spread chicken on potatoes.
Spread creamy sauce on chicken.
Arrange bread slices on the side of the dish.
Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese, olives 6-7 , mixed herbs and chili flakes.
Bake at 180c in preheated oven till cheese melt.
Serve hot.
You can adjust spices according to your taste buds I have used less spices because of my kids.

You can easily make this chocolate in 10 minutes only. You just need 2 ingredients. A perfect homemade gift for your friends and family.
INGREDIENTS:
Cooking chocolate, dark or milk

Nutella
1/4 cup
METHOD:
Melt chocolate in microwave. You can use double boiler method for melting chocolate as well.
Grease mold or use silicon mold with out greasing it.
Pour chocolate in molds and with spoon back spread it all over. We just need a thick coat. Let it cool completely.
Place Nutella in fridge for few minutes it will become hard.
Place a small quantity of Nutella in coated shells. Press down with spoon.
Pour melted chocolate on Nutella. Seal it with chocolate.
Tap mold on counter to remove air bubble and to smooth the surface.
Let it set in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
Carefully take them out from molds.

Chicken Fajita pasta is one of my favorite meal, fully loaded with crispy chicken, crisp vegetables and creamy sauce is utterly delicious. Very easy and quick recipe.
INGREDIENTS FOR TACO/ FAJITA SPICE:
Smoked paprika or red chili powder
2 tbsp

Garlic powder

INGREDIENTS FOR PASTA:
Chicken breast, cut in cubes or stripes.

METHOD:
Prepare Fajita or Taco spice first, it’s very easy to make.
Mix all ingredients of Fajita spice, store in a jar for seasoning your meat when required.
In a bowl add chicken cubes or strips and fajita spice. Mix well.
In a pan add 1 tbsp oil, and place chicken in single layer let it cook till nice brown color appear, turn the side and cook. Set aside.
Boil pasta and drain it, now in pasta add cream, salt and broth, cook till become thick, set aside.
In a pan add 1 tbsp oil, stir fry garlic and fry all vegetables including tomato.
Mix vegetables and chicken in pasta and toss them. Adjust salt and spices according to your taste buds.
In a oven proof dish transfer pasta and sprinkle grated cheese and oregano.
Bake in preheated oven at 180c till cheese melt.
Serve hot.

METHOD:
Take buns and cut them in halves, create a pocket very carefully with knife.
In 1 tsp oil fry marinated chicken and keep on frying till tender. Let it cool and shred it. You can freeze this chicken for future convenience.
Chop all vegetables, in 1 tsp oil sauté for few seconds. Now add chicken also. Let it simmer for a minute.
Add ketchup according to your taste. Even you can adjust spices according to your taste. You can add more pepper or salt if required.
Fill buns with mixture and join both parts together, place on baking tray and put a cheese slice on top. If you don’t have slices than sprinkle shredded cheese.
Sprinkle oregano, onion ring and garlic powder or olives if you like.
Bake at 180c till cheese melt.
You can grill it by covering a lid on stove as well.
