suji halwaSuji Halwa or Semolina pudding is one of Pakistan’s famous dessert. This is a basic recipe which i am going to share. Two methods i will give, both are easy and end product is delicious.

INGREDIENTS:

Suji/ semolina1 cup
Sugar3/4 cup
Ghee3 tbsp
Cardamom3-4
Water1 and 3/4 cup
Nutsas needed

METHOD:

  • In a pot add water and sugar, cook till sugar dissolve.
  • In a pan add ghee and cardamom. Let it crackle then add semolina and fry till light golden.
  • Now pour sugar syrup and stir constantly.
  • Cook till ghee separates.
  • Garnish with nuts and serve hot.

METHOD 2:

  • In a pan add ghee and cardamom ,let it crackle then add semolina.
  • Fry till light brown, add sugar and mix.
  • Add water double to suji/semolina.
  • Cook till oil separates .Add khoya and nuts.
  • Mix and serve hot.
