One of my friends asked for tomato soup recipe, so I am adding up a very simple and easy to cook soup recipe in my cook book… 🙂 grilled croutons or baked one both will give you very good combination with tomato soup.
INGREDIENTS:
Tomatoes(chopped) | 2 1/2 cup |
Onion (chopped) | 1 |
Yellow Split Lentil (mong ki dal) (washed and soak in water) |
1/4 cup |
Milk | 1/4 cup |
Butter | 1 tbsp |
Sugar | 1 tsp |
Salt | to taste |
Corn Flour | 1 tbsp |
METHOD:
- First boil tomatoes and lentil in 3 cups of water till lentil is completely tender and well cooked.
- Now blend them and in a deep pan add butter and onions, sauté it and add blended mixture in it.
- Now add salt and sugar. After mixing well dissolve corn flour in milk and with whisk mix it till desired consistency is obtained.
- Serve hot with croutons or garlic sticks…
