This recipe I have picked from internet. Kids will defiantly like these pops. I have given a little twist to the recipe. I am posting original version and my own version here.
INGREDIENTS OF ORIGINAL RECIPE:
Potato cubes | 12-13 |
Flour | 1/2 cup |
Chicken powder | 1 tsp |
Garlic powder | 1 tsp |
Corn flour | 1/2 cup |
Slat | to taste |
Spring onion, green part chopped | 2 tbsp |
Black pepper | 1/2 tsp |
Water | as needed |
Wooden skewer or toothpicks | as needed |
METHOD:
- Cut potatoes in cubes, boil in salted water.
- In a bowl add all ingredients and mix with water. Make a thick paste.
- Arrange cubes on a wooden stick and dip in paste and fry.
- Serve with any dip.
INGREDIENTS OF AINY’S RECIPE
Potatoes | 2 large, boiled and cubed |
Salt | to taste |
Chicken powder | 1 tsp |
Gram flour | 1/2 cup |
Corn flour | 1/2 cup |
Crushed red chili | 1/2 tsp |
Salt | to taste for batter |
Wooden skewer | as needed |
Oil | for frying |
METHOD:
- Boil potatoes, cut them in cubes.
- Sprinkle salt and chicken powder on cubes. Toss them.
- In a bowl add all ingredients and mix with water. Make a thick paste.
- Dip potato inserted in sticks, in paste and fry.
- You can adjust spices according to your taste buds.
- Serve with ketchup.
