kfc lemonade mIts very easy to make KFC lemonade Krusher at home. Refresh yourself with this lemon chilled drink in summer.

INGREDIENTS:

Lemon 1, cut in slices
Mint4 leaves
Sugar to taste
Saltpinch
Sprite or 7 upas needed
Crushed iceas needed

METHOD:

  • In a mortar- pestle add lemon slices, mint , sugar and salt.
  • Crush it.
  • In a glass add crushed ice and lemon mixture.
  • Pour sprite or 7up on ice and serve.

  • If you are making it for Ifar then add water instead of soda. Do not drink sodas empty stomach.

KFC – POTATO SALAD

Without salads, pizza treat is in complete ,this salad is close to original  and this is in my special  menu list . But one ingredient i.e celery is very difficult to find in our country ..Instead of celery i normally use coriander .

Ingredients :

2 cups                   boiled n diced potatoes

1 cup                     mayonnaise

4 teaspoons            sugar

2 teaspoons            minced onion

2 teaspoons            prepared mustard

1 teaspoon             vinegar

1 teaspoon               minced celery

1/2 teaspoon shredded carrot

1/4 teaspoon dried parsley

1/4 teaspoon     black pepper

Salt  to taste

 

METHOD:

Peel the potatoes and cut into small sized pieces. Cook the potatoes in a pot of salted boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes until tender. Cool.

Combine all other ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Add the sauce to the potatoes and mix well. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Best is if you allow to refrigerate overnight.

KFC – HOT & SPICY CHICKEN

Kids all time favorite….. you can do some variation , like I do for my kids. You can take long boneless stripes of chicken and then marinate with the same ingredients and then deep fry them again with the same batter  ingredients , serve it with any sauce and enjoy .

Ingredients :

8      chicken pieces

Salt  to taste

1tsp     white pepper

1/2tsp      Mustard powder

2tbsp        vinegar/lemon juice

*Steam chicken for 15 mins n marinate above ingredients in it.

 

 

BATTER   FOR   COATING:

4tbsp           Flour/meida

1/2cup     milk

1tbsp          corn flour

2           eggs

2tbsp      chilli sauce

1/2tsp      backing powder

1/2tsp        white pepper

1cup            corn flakes  (crushed)

1 cup             meida/ flour (for coating)

To taste     salt

 

METHOD:

  • Prepare batter first.
  • Beat eggs and milk in a bowl. Add flour 4 tbsp., salt, chili sauce, baking powder and white pepper. Mix well.
  • Now mix 2 flours (corn and plain flour)  in a dish. Set aside , its for coating.
  • Crush cornflakes and put in a plate. Set aside.
  • Remove and dry chicken from steamer using paper towels.
  • Place chicken in flour mixture ,coat it and dip  in eggs mixture then back into flour.
  • Roll it in corn flakes.
  • Do one piece at a time making sure that each piece is covered completely during each step.
  • Now deep fry them.

KFC – ZINGER BURGER

Zinger burger is a KFC most popular product , in our country every body is crazy to learn homemade zinger. Zinger is named after a mythical part of our tongue, which is in the middle of our tongue (only myth) .

Ingredients:

Chicken boneless  (breast fillets)  1/2 kg

Salt   to taste

White pepper  1/2 tsp

Mustered powder  1/2 tsp

Worcestershire sauce  1 tbsp

*             Marinate chicken in above mentioned ingredients.

 

BATTER  FOR COATING :

Milk   1/2 cup

Beaten egg   1

Flour    3 tbsp

Corn flour   1tbsp

White pepper  1/2 tsp

Salt   1tbsp

Baking powder   1/2 tsp

*Mix above mentioned ingredients in a bowl.

Corn flakes crushed   1 cup

Meida/Plain  flour   1 cup

Corn flour  1/2 cup

4      Buns

Salad leaves

Mayonnaise

 

METHOD:

Place chicken into large bowl and allow to MARINATE for approximately 1 hour.

Beat egg and other ingredients  in a bowl. Mix 2 flours in a dish and set aside for coating and crush corn flakes  in a separate bowl.

Remove and dry chicken using paper towels.  Place in flour mixture, place in milk/eggs mixture, and then in corn flakes then back into flour mixture. Do this process 2 times and coat one piece at a time making sure that each piece is covered completely during each step.

KFC uses pressure cookers to fry chicken, which I don’t recommend you do at home. If you are using a deep fryer, cook a few pieces at a time for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Similarly, if pan frying, cook covered, turning occasionally for about 25 – 30 minutes

Make sure you check the middle of the largest chicken piece for doneness. (No pink)

When done, allow chicken pieces drain on paper towels.

Now take buns cut in two halves ,spread mayonnaise on both sides now  add salad leaves , place chicken piece on it.And serve with any dip.IMG_2627

KFC – FRENCH FRIES

Without fries burger is just like a pizza without cheese  🙂 why I am saying this, because I myself love fries with burger , a lot of people on media taught fries making with different styles . All are good but I follow this method from the beginning.


METHOD:

Boil  water and add salt and ¼ tsp haldi/turmeric in it .Now cut potatoes n let them boil for 3-4 mins.Drain them and put in cold water.Now mix meida/ flour, salt and pinch of haldi and coat all potatoes in it and deep fry them.Drain on paper towel.

KFC – FRIED CHICKEN

My friend Saima Amir took classes of KFC copy cat recipes  I am thankful to her because she shared all recipes with me. Very interesting thing is , I am using this recipe for fried fish also . You can take fish fillet and marinate for few minutes then in the same batter fry it. I named this dish as KFF….lol

Ingredients :

8        chicken pieces

1 quart Water

3 tablespoons Salt (used for soaking)
