
Zinger burger is a KFC most popular product , in our country every body is crazy to learn homemade zinger. Zinger is named after a mythical part of our tongue, which is in the middle of our tongue (only myth) .
Ingredients:
Chicken boneless (breast fillets) 1/2 kg
Salt to taste
White pepper 1/2 tsp
Mustered powder 1/2 tsp
Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
* Marinate chicken in above mentioned ingredients.
BATTER FOR COATING :
Milk 1/2 cup
Beaten egg 1
Flour 3 tbsp
Corn flour 1tbsp
White pepper 1/2 tsp
Salt 1tbsp
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
*Mix above mentioned ingredients in a bowl.
Corn flakes crushed 1 cup
Meida/Plain flour 1 cup
Corn flour 1/2 cup
4 Buns
Salad leaves
Mayonnaise
METHOD:
Place chicken into large bowl and allow to MARINATE for approximately 1 hour.
Beat egg and other ingredients in a bowl. Mix 2 flours in a dish and set aside for coating and crush corn flakes in a separate bowl.
Remove and dry chicken using paper towels. Place in flour mixture, place in milk/eggs mixture, and then in corn flakes then back into flour mixture. Do this process 2 times and coat one piece at a time making sure that each piece is covered completely during each step.
KFC uses pressure cookers to fry chicken, which I don’t recommend you do at home. If you are using a deep fryer, cook a few pieces at a time for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Similarly, if pan frying, cook covered, turning occasionally for about 25 – 30 minutes
Make sure you check the middle of the largest chicken piece for doneness. (No pink)
When done, allow chicken pieces drain on paper towels.
Now take buns cut in two halves ,spread mayonnaise on both sides now add salad leaves , place chicken piece on it.And serve with any dip.
