BUTTER MILK CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE
I’ve made this cake in deep pan, but you can easily make this in pressure cooker (remove rubber from the lid first). You will get a perfect cake on stove top….:). This recipe is one of my favorite, its not only tasty but also easy to make.

INGREDIENTS:

Eggs2
Flour2 cups
Sugar2 cups
Cocoa powder1/2 cup
Butter milk1 cup
Oil1 cup
Hot water3/4 cup
Baking soda3 tsp
Salt1 tsp

METHOD:

  • Sift all dry ingredients and set aside.
  • Beat eggs ,sugar and then add dry ingredients in it .
  • Add oil,butter milk and hot water.Pour in aluminum box (as i did) or can pour in baking pan also.
  • If you don’t have butter milk at home then take warm milk 1 cup and add 1tsp of lemon juice ,set aside for few 5-10 minutes.
  • Bake it for 25 minute at 180c. If baking in a pot then place wire rack in pot and place pan on rack ,cove with lid and bake till perfectly done.It can take 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to bake.
  • Melt chocolate and spread on cake or make frosting.

FROSTING:

  • Add 2 tbsp butter ,2 tbsp cocoa ,1/4 cup milk and 1 cup  icing sugar in a pan and cook until smooth and thick ,spread on cake.

CONE CAKE

Cone Cake
I know many of you already have experience this cake I always love to make these interesting things. It can be your kid’s lunch box item or kid’s party cake and much more.

You just need to fill in cake batter in cones and place in oven proof mug or fill cupcake cases and invert cones on batter and bake them for 25 minutes at 180 c.

You can dip in cake in chocolate ganache or melted chocolate decorate with sprinkles or any thing of your choice, ready to serve 🙂

This is my son’s favorite cake and I have used my basic recipe of sponge , but the topping is different..
For sponge cake please check my “simple sponge cake recipe“.

 

INGREDIENTS:

Cream1 packet
Icing sugarto taste
Milk (to soak the cake)as needed
Kitkatas needed
Chocolate curls /shavesas needed

METHOD:

  • Beat the cream with icing sugar and then divide the cake in two halves soak it with sugar syrup or with milk.
  • Spread cream on one half and place 1/2 inch pieces of kit kat  then place another cake half on top now spread cream on sides and top of cake.
  • Cut kit kat according to the height of ur cake and then arrange on the sides.
  • Decorate with chocolate shaves or curls.
  • Keep in refrigerator for few hours before serving.

NUTELLA AND FERRERO ROCHER EGG LESS CUPCAKES
I was fully inspired by the idea when first saw on pinterest , and when i made these cupcakes i was so excited , happy and then speechless after having these beauties…lol .You will like this idea too ,instead of using Nutella you can fill chocolate ganache in the cupcake or just melt chocolate and place Ferrero on top .

INGREDIENTS:

Plain flour3 cups
Sugar2 cups
Cocoa powder6 tbsp
Baking soda2 tsp
Salt1/2 tsp
Oil12 tbsp
Vinegar2tbsp
Vanilla essence1 tsp
Milk1 cup and 2 tbsp
Nutellaas needed
Ferrero Rocher12-15

METHOD:

  • Add vinegar,vanilla essence and oil together in a bowl and mix well with a fork set aside.
  • Mix flour,baking soda, sugar, cocoa powder and salt in a large bowl then add vinegar mixture in it, use whisk to mix all ingredients ,add milk to avoid lumps and thickness of batter .Its not necessary that whole milk you will add , just use to get required consistency.
  • Pour in muffin’s pan and bake them for 25 minutes at 180c.
  • Let them cool down completely and then scoop out cake from the middle to make a small hole in the center now fill in Nutella and place Ferrero Rocher on top, keep them aside in a cool place to set for 2-3 hours.
  • serve and enjoy your tasty and delicious egg less cupcakes.
  • I have used 1/4 tsp red food color also.If you like to add then mix in ,in the end.

CHOCOLATE MOCHA MUG CAKE
Mug cakes are super cakes for me because you just need to mix ingredients and put it in microwave ,in a minute or so you can enjoy effort less  Mug cake…:).Even you can bake these mug cakes in oven also.

INGREDIENTS:

Egg1
Flour4 tbsp
Sugar4 tbsp
Baking powder1/2 tsp
Cocoa powder2 tbsp
Coffee1/4 tsp
Milk1 tbsp
Oil3 tbsp

METHOD:

  • Add all ingredients in a large mug and beat with a fork until smooth .
  • Keep in microwave for 1 minute then check if not done then keep it for another 30 seconds.
  • Insert wooden skewer if comes out clean then take the mug out .
  • Do not over cook your cake other wise it will burn, time is very important in microwave baking.
  • Serve with chocolate sauce topping or can use nutella…:)
CHOCOLATE MOCHA MUG CAKE

NUTELLA WALNUT LAVA BROWNIE  MUG CAKE
Another brownie recipe….lol. But this is a very simple and tasty recipe i am 101% sure you and your kids will love this Mug cake .When i made this first time i was so happy to see cake prepared in only 3 minutes…2 min for preparations and 1 min for baking….

INGREDIENTS:

Egg1
Flour2 tbsp
Sugar2 tbsp
Butter2 tbsp
Cooking chocolate2 tbsp
Nutella3 tbsp
Walnuts1tbsp

METHOD :

  • Melt butter and chocolate in a large mug in microwave for few seconds and stir with spoon to melt completely ,now stir sugar in it and then egg .Mix with fork.
  • Add flour and walnut and then mix well , pour nutella in center of the mug and keep in microwave for 1 minute.
  • Insert skewer to check and serve hot with spoonful of Nutella topping…

WHITE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE WITH OREO
When I saw this recipe first time I found it interesting and unique and I am sure you will also like this idea and your kids will love these black and white brownies…:)

INGREDIENTS:

Eggs2
Butter1/2 cup
Sugar(grind it)3/4 cup
White chocolate5 oz
Plain flour1 cup
Saltpinch
Oreo10
White and dark chocolate for topping

METHOD:

  • Melt chocolate and butter and then remove from stove and add sugar in it .
  • Now add eggs and beat them well. Add flour and salt, mix and pour half the mixture in the pan. Place Oreo biscuits on the batter and then pour the remaining batter .(you can add nuts in the batter also)
  • Bake at 170c for 25 minutes.
  • Do not over bake and let them cool for few minutes then cut in squares ,its better to serve after 2-3 hours.
  • Melt white chocolate and spread on brownie ,i made swirls of dark chocolate .
  • For garnish i have used chocolate leaves.

HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE LEAVES:

Melt chocolate and spread on a leaf with a paint brush ,keep in refrigerator to set and then peel off the leaf.Keep in cool place and decorate before serving.

METHOD:

  • Add butter and sugar in a bowl and beat till creamy now add eggs one by one and beat well.
  • Mix sieved flour,baking powder and cocoa powder in eggs mixture.
  • Add milk and vanilla essence ,pour in a pan and bake it for 25 mins.
  • Now with a clean pencil or wooden handle poke your cake,make small holes in the cake .
  • Pour caramel sauce ( i have used Hershey’s)  in the holes and set aside for 2-3 hours.
  • Make chocolate ganache (as i have mentioned in my” rich chocolate cupcake” recipe) and spread evenly on the cake.
  • Decorate with chocolate curls

SIMPLE PINEAPPLE CAKE

SIMPLE PINEAPPLE CAKE
This recipe is my basic sponge cake recipe, taught by one of my family friend Bassra Masood and whenever I make this I never forget to pray for her. A very easy and never failed recipe it is.

INGREDIENTS:

Plain flour1 cup
Eggs2
Sugar (grind it)3/4 cup
Baking powder1 tsp
Vegetable oil1/4 cup
Cream for icing1 packet
Icing sugar for icing to taste
Pineapple chunks and juiceas needed

METHOD:

  • Beat eggs till foamy add grind sugar and again beat till creamy , add sieved flour and backing powder  in eggs and beat again.
  • Measure oil and add in mixture ,now pour milk (2 tbsp) and beat well .
  • Pour in a baking pan and bake for 25 minutes at 170c,when baked ,take it out and let it cool completely.
  • Now divide in two and either soak with pineapple juice or you can use sugar syrup also ,after spraying again keep in cool place .
  • Beat cream with icing sugar till hard ,you can add pineapple essence also.
  • On one half spread cream and pineapple chunks then place another half of cake on top and cover with cream from all sides.
  • Garnish and keep in cool place.
  • If you are using packet cream and its difficult for you to beat ,then pour cream in a steel  bowl and keep in freezer for 1/2 hour then  beat with electric beater .

PINK SNOW CAKE

This cake is for my beloved niece Aizah Noor , It was her first birthday on 24th January  , May Allah gives her success , health and happiness in her life, Ameen. The recipe I am going to mention is a simple one and hope you all will like it.

INGREDIENTS:

Eggs 2
Flour 1 ½ cups
Sugar 1 cup
Butter 12 tbsp
Baking Powder ½ tsp
Baking Soda ½ tsp
Coco Powder 6 tbsp
Salt pinch
Hot Water 6 tbsp
Vanilla Essence few drops
Yogurt ¼ cup

METHOD:

  • Whisk cocoa and hot water and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl sieve flour, baking powder, soda and salt and set aside.
  • Melt butter with sugar in a pan, when both melt then remove from flame and pour in a bowl .Let it cool down for few mins then add eggs n beat with hand mixer.
  • Now add vanilla and cocoa mixtures in it and mix well.
  • Add flour mixture in the bowl and mix well.
  • Iin the end add yogurt (feel free to use yogurt, it will not give any tangy flavor to the cake but use sweet yogurt.)
  • Pour into a greased pan and bake it at 160c for 30 mins, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

PINK SNOW FROSTING:

INGREDIENTS:

Cream 2 cups
Icing Sugar as needed
Food Color few drops
Gelatin Powder 2 tsp
Pineapple Chunks as needed
Water 2 tbsp

METHOD :

  • Beat cream by adding sugar in it then add food color and beat again.
  • Meanwhile microwave water and gelatin for 10 sec and stir to dissolve.
  • Now add this in cream, continue beating till its fluffy .

ASSEMBLING OF CAKE:

  • Divide cake in two and spread cream in generous amount on one half then spread pineapple chunks evenly
  • Place other half on top and again spread cream on all sides.
  • Now with fork make peaks of cream.

How to make Mountain:

  • We need one ice cream cone. Melt white chocolate and dip in cone, make sure it is cover from all sides sprinkles silver balls all over and let it cool down.
  • Before serving the cake place on cake. Enjoy this yummy cake with your family.

Last time I tried Nutella mug cake and all my friends liked it a lot. This time I decided to make chocolate mug cake with fresh orange juice. I always make cup cakes by adding fresh orange juice in winters. So I have added juice and zest of orange, which will give you a refreshing flavor.

INGREDIENTS:

Flour 5 tbsp
Egg 1
Sugar (grind it) 4 tbsp
Cooking Chocolate/Milk Chocolate 3 tbsp
Oil 3 tbsp
Fresh Orange Juice 3 tbsp
Orange Zest 1/4 tsp
Baking Powder 1/2 tsp

For glazing:

Orange Juice 2 tsp
Icing Sugar 2 tbsp

METHOD:

  • Mix all ingredients with a whisk and in a bowl. I normally do it like this…:)
  • After mixing well pour mixture in a mug or tea cup (I used tea cup this time).
  • Now bake then on 170c  for just 10-15 minutes.
  • Now in a small bowl mix icing sugar and juice pour on cakes and serve.

Oreo Brownie Truffle


My kids like Oreo biscuits and when i tried this recipe the joy and happiness on their faces was worthwhile . I personally like this brownie  and like to have this with my hot tea in evening . This is also a good lunch box item for kids .

INGREDIENTS FOR BROWNIE:

eggs  3

flour   1 cup

butter   3/4 cup

sugar   1 and 1/2 cup

cocoa powder   1/2 cup

salt 1/4 tsp

vanilla essence   1/2 tsp

METHOD:

  • In a large bowl mix butter and sugar(grind it) , beat with hand beater till creamy .
  • Now add eggs one by one and beat till fluffy.Add sifted flour ,cocoa and salt.
  • Beat again ,in the end add vanilla , after mixing pour in square shape cake pan.
  • Bake it for 25 mins at 180c.
  • When done take it out n let it cool completely.

INGREDIENTS FOR TOPPING:

Oreo biscuits  2 packets

cream cheese  softened , for mixing Oreo.

chocolate    1 cup (you can use chocolate chips also)

 

METHOD:

  • In a chopper ,crush Oreo and  mix cream cheese in it,we need to bind the mixture .
  • Now spread this on brownie cake and pour  melted chocolate on oreo layer,spread evenly with spatula.
  • Garnish with crushed Oreo and let it cool and fix completely
  • you can keep in fridge if you are in hurry…..:) enjoy this yummy recipe .

VANILLA PUDDING POKE CAKE

When I saw this recipe first time, I became very much impressed with this idea , I was not sure that it will come up in a good shape or not but I never hesitate to try . When I tasted it , found a different taste and softness of cake which was awesome . From this experience i have learnt more techniques and made alot of different poke cakes.

INGREDIENTS FOR CAKE:

eggs   4

flour    1 cup

cooking chocolate  4 oz  chopped

white butter /butter  1 cup

brown sugar  2 cups

backing powder  1/2 tsp

 

HOW TO MAKE CAKE

  •  First cream ,butter and sugar then add eggs beat till fluffy now add sifted flour and backing powder in eggs mix well.
  •  Add melted chocolate ,mix and pour in backing pan …bake for 25 mins at 180c.
  • When done take it out and place on cake rack ..let it cool completely.

 

INGREDIENTS  FOR TOPPING:

vanilla pudding   1 packet

cooking chocolate   1  cup (melted)

whipping cream   1 packet

chocolate  shaves for garnishing

METHOD:

  • Make pudding as directed on the box then let it cool for few mins ,now with any round handle or clean pencil make holes in the cake keep 1 inch distance between all .
  • Pour pudding mixture on the cake. Make sure it will go in the holes also …..now keep it in refrigerator till pudding set .
  • Now spread cream on top and garnish with chocolate. I spread melted chocolate first on cake then cream then garnish with chocolate shaves.
